The Task

The client had a long period of sleepless nights due to a tragic event. After trying many different products with little to no success, he created his own combination of sleep assists that finally resulted in a good night’s rest. He wanted to create the ultimate sleepwear. His idea was simple yet highly effective. He wanted to build a high-quality hoodie that had a built-in sleep mask while being made with a cooling and moisture-wicking material.

The Strategy

We planned to source and test various materials from domestic and overseas suppliers to not only construct the hoodie itself but also the built-in sleep mask. We then would price out the material and product costs from manufacturers within our network to make the product as cost-effective as possible while also creating a premium product.

The Execution

The process began by iterating on the initial idea. Trying different materials, facemask designs, and sizing. This was a product that would impact people’s daily lives so we went through extensive testing to make sure it was the product the client envisioned. After man versions, colors, and materials, we settled on the hero product that would launch the brand.

The Success

Dēp Slēpwear has gone on to sell its products across the world and every day it garneres a life-changing review. It has gone on to make partnerships, sell directly to athletes and sports teams, and has left a truly positive impact on its fans.
