Who We Are

52Launch - A different kind of product development agency

52Launch works with early stage entrepreneurs and inventors to bring their consumer product ideas to market. Our Accelerator Program consists of industrial design, branding, marketing, and manufacturing services designed to culminate in successful product launches and product-based businesses with our clients as CEOs. We offer everything our clients need to successfully get to market - except IP services.

Our primary revenue model is uniquely based on manufacturing our clients products. This ensures our success is aligned with that of our clients without them having to give up equity in their companies or IP.

What You Get

A free co-branded webpage, created and hosted on our website, designed to accomplish the following:
  • In one place, answer both major questions early stage inventors have: How do I protect my idea, and how do I bring it to market? In doing so, make them aware of our firms as an alternative to the invention promotion companies that almost always fail to produce results.
  • Generate initial consultations for both of our firms so that we can each handle the topics we're best equipped for when taking on new inventor clients. You handle IP questions and services, while we handle commercialization questions and efforts, saving everyone time and effort.
  • Serve as a resource we can direct existing clients to when they reach stages of our accelerator where they need to speak with an IP attorney.

Benefits for Your Firm

For a total time commitment of only 20-30 minutes, you obtain an online asset designed to generate high quality inventor leads for your firm.

These are leads that understand the commercial value of IP, next steps after filing, and are funded to leverage that protection. You won't waste time in consultations with unqualified leads or fielding commercialization questions after filing. Depending on page performance, this could be 10-20 high quality leads per year for 20 minutes of your time.

City-level geographic exclusivity is offered outside the ten largest markets, so this opportunity may not be available for long.

 FAQ

Will you refer clients to me?

This is a business development initiative designed to generate new clients for both of our firms. However, each page has a unique link to book a consultation with 52Launch that tells us that lead came from our joint page with you. If that lead becomes a 52Launch client, they will be referred to you when they reach the stage of our accelerator where we recommend they contact an attorney.

What is the cost of participation?

There is no cost associated with the co-branded website. We believe this is a win-win both in saving ourselves time trying to answer questions in the other's area of expertise, and for generating new clients that otherwise would likely have ended up working with an invention promotion firm.

We request that you put a link to the co-branded page somewhere on your site, often in a resources page or a blog post about next steps after obtaining IP. This is not strictly required, but will substantially boost visibility for the page.

Why should I participate?

The entire process of setting up a co-branded website takes around half an hour of your time. A single client generated for you from the page represents a positive ROI on that time. Also, this is an organic asset that will improve in performance/ranking on Google over time.

The goal is not to capture inventors who already would have worked with your firm, but those who would have worked with a firm that promises to help protect and commercialize, which rarely results in success.

Is there exclusivity?

Yes, if you are in a top 250 city by population in the US, you will be the only listed attorney in that area (outside of the 10 largest markets). We have no interest in creating pages to compete against each other.

What if my firm doesn't partner with product development companies?

Our agreement and public facing language make it clear that this is not a partnership. You would simply be listed as the attorney in your area that we trust to answer the questions that we cannot. We expect no referrals from you, require no payment, and you are free to delist at any time. We will also work with you on the page's language as much as needed to provide proper disclaimers.

Can I trust 52Launch to put my name on their website?

All content requires written approval from you before posting, and we are happy to provide references to past clients, current department leads, and other attorneys we work with. You can also reach out to them independently - we're confident you'll get positive reviews.

How long does this take?

Filling out the intake form to provide your information and reviewing the content before it goes live usually takes around twenty minutes total.

My practice spans many cities or is national. How does that work with regional exclusivity?

We ask that you choose one location to tie the co-branded page to for SEO purposes, as pages with one location keyword tend to rank much higher than those with national or multiple location keywords. If you strongly prefer keywords promoting a national presence, that is ultimately up to you.
