Say Hello to HandiBru: A New Type of Tool Caddy
HandiBru hits the market, developed with 52Launch’s product development services.
Introducing HandiBru
Keep your basic tools and a cool refreshment right on hand. That’s the concept behind HandiBru: an innovative, multi-functional tool-and-can caddy designed for convenience.
With a koozie, small parts storage, cell phone rest, and an included screwdriver, tape measure, and conversion chart, it aims to transform the way casual builders and doers enjoy the work experience. And while HandiBru may be a new kind of toolkit, it’s also a versatile product that offers up other possibilities.
As HandiBru owner James Wittman explains on our podcast, “Besides what's on the package, there's all kinds of ways you can use it.” For example, it could be the perfect fishing sidekick. Measure your catch with the tape measure, store lures in the compartment, and keep a beverage by your side. As another example, someone might take it golfing and store tees and golf balls in it.
Now that HandiBru has officially launched, consumers can discover their favorite way to use the caddy.
Partnering with 52Launch
What is now a polished, for-sale product was once just a concept. The idea was first born from Wittman’s background in construction and fiber optics—and a desire to have the essential tools and a refreshment on hand while working, especially on hot days.
Witman partnered with 52Launch to provide comprehensive development services for HandiBru, helping him bring it to market. These services include branding, design, packaging, manufacturing, shipping logistics, fulfillment, website build, and marketing.
Speaking on the final product of these efforts, Wittman says, “I think the end product is really, really sweet, really nice, and clean, and I’m excited to see what the customers are going to say about it.”
The Product Development Experience
As any entrepreneur will tell you, the journey from idea to product launch is often a dynamic learning experience. One of Wittman’s takeaways? “Be patient and believe in yourself and trust in that process,” he states, later adding, “You don't want to come out with a product that's half of what you thought it was going to be.”
And his patience paid off. HandiBru’s website is now live, and the product is ready to be ordered and used by DIYers, fixer-uppers, and whoever else needs a HandiBru in their life. Summarizing his journey with 52Launch, Wittman states, “Just honestly, it's been an incredible experience.”
